Een ludiek protest bleef in Pijnacker centrum op paar borden met o.a. een tekst als “De koek is op” of “Het glas is leeg” uit. De stoelen bleven opgestapeld staan maar dat de horeca het zonder extra steun van de overheid niet gaat redden staat als een paal boven water. horeca ondernemers die hun huis verkopen en boven de zaak gaan wonen is meer regel dan uitzondering.
Vanaf 14 oktober is de horeca gesloten en er is geen uitzicht op versoepeling tijdens de inmiddels een jaar durende corona pandemie, dat er de mogelijk is om af te halen of te laten bezorgen is voor de ondernemers slechts een druppel op een gloeiende plaat.
